El 6 de enero de 2015, el gobernador de la provincia costera de Guayas, Rolando Panchana presentó ante la Fiscalía un pedido para que investigue al presunto responsable de divulgar un mensaje en Twitter que, a manera de montaje y tomando su nombre, circuló en esa red social en relación a la muerte de la cantante Sharon. El tuit decía: “Sharon siempre quiso formar parte de la revolución ciudadana, esperamos que sus fans cumplan su sueño y se afilien”.
Según un comunicado de prensa divulgado en el portal de la gobernación del Guayas, se informó que el gobernador demostró que dicho mensaje fue un montaje divulgado por un sujeto identificado como JEV “con el ánimo de generar cuestionamientos de los usuarios de las redes sociales”.
En la denuncia planteada ante la Fiscalía, el ejecutivo provincial explicó que gracias a sus investigaciones, estableció la identidad del tuitero que divulgó el falso mensaje, y “demostró” que su intención era promover comentarios negativos en su contra .
A través de su cuenta personal de Twitter, (@rolandopanchana) Panchana también escribió que: “Con esta Denuncia pretendo crear un precedente judicial para los que buscan dañar la imagen de un servidor público”. En ese sentido aseguró que “politizaron el hecho, en descarado y cruel irrespeto a la memoria de la fallecida. Que los autores asuman su responsabilidad ante la ley” y que dicho montaje fue retuiteado por decenas de personas “de forma imprudente o con la clara intención de dañar la imagen del Gobernador”.
Governor asks district attorney’s office to investigate the author of a ‘tweet’ for alleged damaging his image
On January 6 2015, Rolando Panchana gorvernor of Guayas, presented a petition to the district atorney´s office to investigate the alleged responsible of spreading a message on Twitter that is a montage taking his name, circulated in the social network in relation to the death of singer Sharon. The twitt said: «Sharon always wanted to be part of the citizen’s revolution, we hope their fans fulfill her dream and become members.»
According to a press release broadcasted on the Guayas´ government website, reported that the governor showed that the message was false and share by atwitter user identified as JEV «with the aim of generating questions from users of the social networks”.
In the complaint filed in the Attorney´s General office, the province executive explained that through their research, established the identity of the twitter user who reported the false message, and «proved» that his intention was to promote negative comments against him.
Through his personal Twitter account (rolandopanchana) Panchana also wrote: » this Report intend to create a legal precedent for those who seek to harm the image of a public servant.» In that sense Pachana added «the fact has been politicized and made a cruel disrespect to the memory of the deceased Sharon. The authors should take responsibility before the law» and the assembly tweet was retweeted by dozens of people» in a recklessly way or with the clear intention of damaging the image of the Governor «.
