El 17 de noviembre de 2014, el legislador oficialista Juan Carlos Cassinelli, presidente de la Comisión Especializada Ocasional encargada de tramitar el proyecto de enmiendas constitucionales en la Asamblea Nacional, advirtió a los medios de comunicación y aseguró que no permitirá la “tergiversación” de la información o publicación de “contenidos erróneos” respecto a los temas que trata dicha Comisión.
Esta advertencia se dio en el marco de una reunión entre representantes del gobierno y la academia sobre las enmiendas a la Carta Magna y tras la lectura que hizo el Secretario de la Comisión, de una rectificación que la Comisión envió a diario El Universo el fin de semana.
“Advierto una vez más, esta Comisión respeta la institucionalidad que viene de la Asamblea. No vamos a permitir ninguna tergiversación ni contenido erróneos que ningún medio traslade a la ciudadanía, lo que nosotros estamos manejando por el dictamen de la Corte Constitucional (…) es de muchísima seriedad, por lo tanto, exigimos de todos los medios públicos y privados la transmisión correcta y adecuada de la noticia”, dijo Cassinelli, en declaraciones recogidas por diario El Universo.
Según el rotativo, el pedido de rectificación se dio por la nota publicada el sábado 15 de noviembre en la página 2, bajo el título “Una extensa sesión en donde se aprobó un corto cronograma” . Nota que según el legislador oficialista, aseguró “de forma imprecisa y errada” que los aliados fueron los ausentes en la sesión uno de la Comisión Ocasional (en el pie de foto) y, en el texto, al publicar que los puestos de Bayron Pacheco (Avanza) y Rosa Elvira Muñoz (AP) estaban vacíos.
En respuesta a dicho pedido El Universo precisó que la crónica narró el desarrollo de esa sesión y sostuvo que a las 16:30 estaban esos dos puestos vacíos, como así ocurrió. Sin embargo, se rectificó en el pie de foto porque los aliados posteriormente registraron su asistencia a la sesión.
Oficialist lawmaker warns the media for the information that might post
On November 17th 2014, The official’s lawmaker Juan Carlos Cassinelli, president of the Casual Specialized Committee, responsible for processing the constitutional amendments project in the National Assembly, warned the communication media and said he would not allow the «misrepresentation» of the information or publication of «erroneous content» on the issues addressed in that Commission.
This warning was given in the context of a meeting between government and academia representatives concerning the Constitution amendments and after the reading was done by the Secretary of the Commission, about a rectification the Commission sent to daily El Universo on the weekend.
«I warn again, this Commission respects the institutions coming from the Assembly. We will not allow any misrepresentation or inaccurate content that might be given to citizenship, what we’re handling down the because of a Constitutional Court decision (…) is of utmost seriousness, therefore we demand of all public and private media to inform and broadcast in all ways the appropriate news » Cassinelli said, quoted by newspaper El Universo.
According to the newspaper, the order of rectification was given because of the note posted on Saturday November 15th on page 2 under the title «A long session where a short schedule was approved.» Note that according to the assemblyman Cassineli, held «in a wrong an vague way» that the allies were absent at the meeting one of the Casual Commission, to publish that the seats of Bayron Pacheco (Avanza) and Rosa Elvira Muñoz (AP) were empty.
In response to this request, newspaper EL Universo stated that the chronic narrated the development of the session at 16:30 establishing that there were two empty seats, as happened.
