El 13 de diciembre de 2014, el presidente Rafael Correa, durante su Enlace Ciudadano Nº 402 advirtió al articulista Antonio Rodríguez Vicens de posibles implicaciones jurídicas por la publicación su artículo titulado “Radiografía de una sabatina”. También lo tildó de “canalla mentiroso” y descalificó al articulista José Ayala Lasso y al caricaturista Xavier Bonilla “Bonil” de quienes se refirió como “canciller de la dictadura” y “politiquero cobardemente disfrazado de caricaturista”, respectivamente.
En el segmento “La libertad de expresión ya es de todos”, el Primer Mandatario, al referirse al artículo de Antonio Rodríguez Vicens, pidió a sus seguidores que se revelen contra lo que él considera, mentiras. “…tienen que reclamar, esta gente no puede abusar de un tintero, estos sicarios de tinta, no pueden expresar su amargura, su frustración en supuestos editoriales e insultar a la gente. Este tipo no es nada, por eso su frustración, su amargura, es abogado del Banco del Pichincha, nada más, entonces es bien pagado eso sí. Solo para demostrar el nivel de odio y la doble moral, aquí sí hay insultos compañeros y graves, aquí sí hay mentiras…”, apuntó el Presidente.
Tras esto, advirtió de posibles implicaciones legales que podría haber por la publicación del artículo. “…es increíble, miren lo que le dice a los ministros, a mujeres ministras, que son abyectas, son serviles, ¿se prestan a cualquier acto deleznable, ¿saben lo que están diciendo? yo creo que aquí podrían haber implicaciones jurídicas, habría que examinarlo porque ya esta gente, esta burguesía, estos payasos, deben aprender a ser responsables (…) no se puede abusar de su poder mediático para insultar y mentir expresando esa frustración, expresando su amargura, expresando esa psicología proyectiva (…)A rechazar a esta clase de tipejos, tal vez frustrados por no haberse podido mantener en sus ideales. Socialdemócrata y ahora sí obsecuente abogado de un banquero. ¡Qué pena!, ¡Qué frustración de esta gente!”, dijo el Jefe de Estado.
Durante ese mismo segmento, cuestionó una caricatura hecha por Bonil, a propósito de la nueva sede de la UNASUR recientemente inaugurada. Para el Presidente, el caricaturista no puede disimular su frustración y amargura, pese a que lo disfrace con dibujitos. “Este señor es un politiquero disfrazado de caricaturista, odiador profesional con sus dibujitos, pero odiador dijo que UNASUR y su sede eran unos elefantes blancos, prohibido olvidar, hablamos después de unos cuantos años, pero prohibido olvidar compañeros y sepan de quiénes recibimos las noticias y las caricaturas”.
Finalmente, el Presidente descalificó al excanciller José Ayala Lasso, por el artículo titulado “Discriminaciones de Correa”, en donde se cuestionó el discurso del Primer Mandatario, por haber afirmado que la Vicealcaldesa de Guayaquil, rubia y de ojos claros, no representaba a su pueblo . Por ello, el Jefe de Estado cuestionó la moral de Ayala y aseguró que el articulista ha sido canciller de la dictadura y que pertenece “a la rosca de los políticos de siempre”. “Resulta que los discriminados son los coloraditos, la burguesía, cuando eternamente, ellos han sido los que han discriminado a todos (…) ¡Burguesía ridícula! La alternancia de ellos es lo mismo de hace 30 años, Canciller de la dictadura, de Alarcón, presidente interino de Mahuad, entregó la Base de Manta y siguen y siguen los círculos (…) vayan y vean si este señor permite entrar a un indígena a su casa, es que la burguesía ecuatoriana es hasta ridícula, en verdad sí tendría que controlar un poquito eso, en verdad me da indignación (…) Yo no le hubiera dado importancia a este artículo si no fuera por el autor, para darle el ejemplo de la alternancia”, dijo el Presidente.
President threat a columnist with possible legal actions and called him as a «real villain and a liar»
On December 13 2014, President Rafael Correa, during his Citizen weekly broadcast #402 warned columnist Antonio Rodríguez Vicens of having possible legal implications for publishing his article entitled «a Saturday x-rays» (Radiografía de una sabatina). Also called him a «liar and a real villian» and disqualified the writer José Ayala Lasso and cartoonist Xavier Bonilla «Bonil» of whom the President referred to them respectively as «Chancellor of the dictatorship» and «politician cowardly disguised as a cartoonist».
At the segment «the Freedom of expression is for all», the President, referring to Antonio Rodríguez Vicens’ article, asked his followers to be revealed against what he believes, are lies. «… You all have to claim, these people cannot abuse of a pipeline, these ink assassins, they cannot express their bitterness, frustration in editorials and insult people. This guy is nothing, that is why his frustration, bitterness, he is lawyer of Banco del Pichincha, nothing more, but he is well paid. Just to demonstrate the level of hatred and double standards, here there is serious insults, here there is lies … » the President said.
After this, the President warned of possible legal implications it might have for publishing the article. «… It is amazing, look what said to the ministers, to women ministers, who are abject, are servile, are present to any weak event; you know what they are saying? I think this could have legal implications, we should have to examine it, because these people, the bourgeoisie, these clowns should learn to responsible (…) it is not possible to abuse their media power to insult and lie expressing all that frustration, expressing their bitterness, expressing that projective psychology (…) We have to reject this kind of guys, perhaps they are frustrated for not been able to keep their ideals. From the Social-Democratic party and now I he is a bank attorney. Shame on you!, What frustration of these people!», the Head of State said.
During this same segment, questioned a cartoon made by Bonil, regarding the new headquarters of UNASUR recently opened. To the President, the cartoonist cannot hide his frustration and bitterness, although it disguises with cartoons. «This man is a politician disguised as a cartoonist, professional hater with his cartoons, but the hater said that UNASUR and its headquarters were some white elephants, banned to forget, we’ll speak after a few years, but is banned to forget, and know from who we received the news and caricatures «.
Finally, the President dismissed the former Foreign Minister José Ayala Lasso, for the article entitled «Correa’s Discriminations» where the speech of the President were questioned, for saying that the Deputy Mayor of Guayaquil, blond and blue-eyed, did not represent their people. Therefore, the Head of State questioned Ayala’s morality and held that the writer has been chancellor of the dictatorship and belongs «to usual political circle». «It turns out that discriminated are the pinkish people, the bourgeoisie, when if eternally, they have been those who have been discriminated against everyone (…) Ridiculous Bourgeoisie!
