El sábado 14 de junio de 2014, el presidente Rafael Correa, durante su Enlace Ciudadano N° 377 descalificó a los radiodifusores Diego Oquendo, de radio Visión y Gonzalo Rosero, de la cadena Democracia-Exa por comentarios vertidos en sus respectivos espacios. Oquendo fue tildado de odiador y “mala fe”, mientras que Rosero de ser un “politiquero, sicario de micrófono y del idioma”.
Durante el segmento “La canallada de la semana”, el Presidente arremetió contra Oquendo por haber comentado, la semana pasada, acerca del caso de Pedro Delgado, primo del Primer Mandatario -quien salió del país tras ser acusado de falsedad ideológica- y haberlo comparado con el caso del exasambleísta de oposición Galo Lara, recientemente detenido en Panamá por la Interpol, tras ser acusado de cómplice de un triple asesinato. “Esta gente ya está enferma de odio. Ya pierde todo límite. Y este señor funge de abogado también y compara estas dos cosas. Qué odio que tiene en el alma”, apuntó el Presidente.
Tras esto, se mostró un video cuya voz en off aseguró que “con absoluta mala fe y hasta con descaro cómo compara dos casos absolutamente diferentes y los compara con la única intención de hacer daño.(…) No, señor Oquendo por más odio que tenga usted al gobierno no puede actuar con tamaña mala fe”.
En ese sentido, el Presidente aseguró: “así es la enfermedad del alma de esta gente que odia y odia. Que tenga la decencia al menos de decir yo odio y no puedo referirme a este tema y no quieren pasar como libres, independientes e imparciales para desfogar todo su odio ¡Ya basta de tanta canallada!”.
Asimismo, Rosero fue mencionado por el Primer Mandatario, quien advirtió a sus simpatizantes de la siguiente manera: “Cuidado por un ahí un periodista, radiodifusor, en verdad politiquero, sicario no de tinta sino de micrófono y del idioma porque escucharlo hablar es un atentado al idioma. Cuidado este politiquero al hablar me los llama galarifos que están buscando algo, recursos. Así dijo sobre la reelección en el informe a la nación. Unos mil galarifos, que seguramente buscan recursos. Qué falta de respeto hacia la gente. Qué envenenada que tiene el alma. En todo caso que nos roben todo menos el alma» .
Insultos similares pronunció el presidente Correa en el enlace N° 375 tras comentarios de Rosero acerca del anuncio de la enmienda constitucional para la reelección del Jefe de Estado. “Ya vamos a hablar sobre la reelección pero no griten mucho porque de acuerdo a Gonzalo Rosero ustedes son unos galarifos en busca de recursos (…) Dice que son corruptos, deshonestos que solo gritan reelección, no porque lo creen, sino por plata. Esa es la prensa insultante, corrupta, deshonesta, tonta. Ven la paja en el ojo ajeno pero no la viga en la de ellos. Así insultan a nuestros conciudadanos. Ciudadanos a revelarse. No hay derecho para que un abusivo al que se le ha dado una frecuencia insulte así al pueblo ecuatoriano. Se los voy a demostrar. Ya basta de tanta agresión a la ciudadanía por parte de periodistas deshonestos y además tremendamente torpes”.
President disqualifies two radio broadcasters on his weekly saturday program
